Funds for Backus Hospital Auxiliary
The Bearingstar Insurance Charitable Fund is pleased to announce their support of Backus Hospital Auxiliary with a $1,000 donation. These funds will help the Auxiliary with their funding to have 12 nurses attend the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and receive their verification. These courses are offered about twice per month at different hospitals. ENPC is a four year certification course with an emphasis on pediatric trauma care and management. The goal is to improve the care of pediatric patients by increasing the knowledge, skills and confidence of emergency nurses.
